Denton Juneteenth Celebration

As we celebrate 160 years of freedomDenton Juneteenth kicks off on Monday, June 16th, with a week of exciting events honoring history, culture, and community. Families can enjoy Story Time at the Library, while professionals and entrepreneurs connect at the Mixer & Financial Workshop at NCTC. Art lovers will appreciate the Art Exhibition, showcasing creativity and culture. As the weekend approaches, don’t miss the concerts featuring live music, vendors, sports, and entertainment for the whole family. Saturday brings even more excitement with the Juneteenth Parade, followed by the Heroes Reception, where we will honor outstanding non profit local figures. Join us in a week of learning, entertainment, and unity as we commemorate this historic milestone in Denton!
