Rick Bernard James

Singer/ Songwriter/ Actor/ Poet/ Artist

Rick Bernard James, born October 23, in Monroe, Louisiana, grew up as an “Air Force brat”, moving from coast to coast and overseas, totally oblivious to any musical or singing talent.  While attending Langston University, a HBCU in Oklahoma, a wondrous gift was discovered and developed.

Subsequently, Mr. James appeared on various television shows including “Showtime at the Apollo,” “Star Search”, and graced the stage of countless performance halls and ministries, both as a gifted vocalist, solo artist,  and featured with the renowned First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park Male Chorus.  His renditions of the classic songs “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” and “Perfect Praise” (How Excellent), have generated critical acclaim, and established a solid following throughout the South and Midwest, for his fervent delivery and rich first tenor voice.

In discovering his passion for Christ, he has recorded two independently produced and distributed gospel projects entitled “TODAY”, and “Tell Me About Him”; both projects capturing the versatility and power of this anointed singer songwriter.  His voice, coupled with a kind and humble spirit, has enabled him to perform for such dignitaries as Presidents Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter and George W. Bush.  He has also performed with such artists as Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Patti Labelle, Mary Mary, Marvin and Vickie Winians, Donnie McClurkin, Walter Hawkins, Rance Allen, and countless others. He also performs with two live local cover bands, “The Rob Holbert Group” and “Memphis Soul” at various venues throughout the D/FW area and across the country.

Rick Bernard James is also a very talented stage and film short actor, published songwriter, poet, devoted husband and father of four daughters(Jillian, Kaila, Mia, Taylor).  Mr. James and his wife Tonya presently reside in Carrollton, Texas, where they are active members of the One Community Church, Plano Campus.

Bobby “B Rob” Roberson Biography

Bobby Roberson Sr.

RobersonB3

Brobroberson

R&B, Southern Soul Blues and Zydeco Artist / Producer / Vocalist / Multi-instrumentalist / Songwriter B Rob was born to Milton Roberson and Evangelist Vernell Roberson, a gospel singer, on June 15, 1974, in Elgin, Texas.  B Rob sang in the Winns Memorial Baptist Church Choir, where he also played the piano and drums at an early age.

In 1983, B Rob’s parents moved his family to Austin, Texas, where he attended Pierce Jr. High School in the Austin Independent School District.  While at Pierce, B Rob was in choir and band where he played the trumpet.  B Rob’s music teacher took an interest in his musical abilities and advised his parents of his special talent.  While attending Johnston High School, B Rob and a few classmates formed a musical group by the name of “4 Man Pose”, where he wrote and produced multiple songs that were never released.

B Rob wanted to learn as many instruments as he could because of his love for music.  B Rob established The Hardhat Entertainment label in the year 2000.  Hardhat Entertainment was created from B Rob’s upbringing and work ethic from his father, who worked in the construction industry and showed him and his siblings that hard work would always pay off in the end.

B Rob produced a couple of his albums called “Freaky Freak” and a compilation album by the name of “Hardhat Hitters”, which featured various artists from Austin TX, Dallas TX, Houston TX, Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, as well as Alexandria LA.  B Rob performed with Tank, Pokey Bear, J Paul Jr., J Won, Adrian Bagher, Tyree Neal, Urban Mystic, Sharnette Hyter, Lone Wolf, Cupid, Bigg Robb, Lazy Bone from Bone Thugs and Harmony, and many more.

In 2007, before B Rob could release the “Freaky Freak” and “Hardhat Hitters” albums, his mother, Evangelist Vernell Roberson, took sick and passed away.  With this tragedy in his life, B Rob drifted away from his musical passion until 2014.

B Rob continued to play Lead Guitar, drums, and piano, as well as sing for his church, The St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, located in Austin, TX.  After reflecting on some of the things that his mother had talked to him about in regards to his musical talents, the fire started to burn in his mind to go back to his passion, which was to resume writing, producing and performing his music.

B Rob’s single, “Selfie”, off the album “B Rob Resurrected”, was released on October 31, 2015.  The “B Rob Resurrected” Album was released in January 2016 and the Blues and Zydeco album “I’m Just Doing Me” was released in May 2017.  Be on the lookout for more upcoming projects from B Rob, the R&B Southern Soul Blues and Zydeco Sensation!

The Eternity Gospel Singers

Eternity Gospel Singers was formed in 1991in Terrell, TX. Eternity Gospel Singers is comprised of sister Marion Jacobs-Burks and Dell Jordon, sisters/friends Mildred Sue Henderson and Sharlet Mitchell. We were raised in Terrell and attended the same church (Greater Rosehill C.O.G.1:C) After singing in the choir together for years, we decided to form Eternity .

We quickly became extremely popular in Terrell and the surrounding areas and begin to travel abroad too many cities and several states. It was the anointing on our lives that opened doors for us. Some say our singing style is like the Clark Sister and the Pace Sisters.

God have blessed Eternity to open for some amazing artist, and we are humbled by the experience. We opened for Richard Smallwood, Dorothy Norwood, Rance Allen, Gaye Arbuckle to name a few.

We have received several nominations for gospel group of the year. We recently won the Most Outstanding Artist Award at the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards.

It is our goal to always glorify God in everything we do and to change lives with our music.
